Ahahaha those are great! :)

Just type cd /usr/share/emacs/20.7/etc into the Terminal, and then type "more filename" to see the contents of some of these funny files! There's even some cookie recipes. :) :) :)

This is probably old gnus, but I thought you all would like the "gnu" jokes. ;) :D :p

LOL - they're great. The question is, how did you come to be looking at files in the emacs dir? Methinks you have too much time on your hands ;o)

They have some good EMACS ones too:

  • Eight Megabytes And Constantly Swapping
  • Emacs Manuals Are Cryptic and Surreal
  • Eventually Munches All Computer Storage
  • Even My Aunt Crashes the System
  • Generally Not Used - Except by Middle Aged Computer Scientists
  • Excellent Manuals Are Clearly Suppressed
  • Embarrassed Manual-Writer Accused of Communist Subversion
  • Extensibility and Modifiability Aggravate Confirmed Simpletons
  • Eleven thousand Monkeys Asynchronously Crank out these Slogans
