Hang at startup??

Hey all - I just got 10.1.5 running on a powermac 8500/180 with a maxpowr g4. It rocks!!!

But I just installed tinkerTool and adjusted a few things. I turned off anti-aliasing for all text. After I rebooted, it goes all the way through the startup process, up until the final step. It just stops at the blue screen and never shows the desktop. I rebooted a few times last night, and finally just left it at this blue screen with the spinning rainbow all night to see if it ever got past it. No go.

I can get it to boot in single user or os 9 on a seperate partition. But I don't know what files to edit when I can get to them! Any suggestions?!

well any settings you change with tinkertool are stored in your home directory. try booting to single user mode, and backup your ~/Library/ directory, and rename it, so that when you boot multi-user, all settings go back to default.

just a guess. see if it works
