Hard Drive

Is it possible to put my HD Icon in the Dock. I tried but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated'

hmm. mine works fine.. your dragging it from the finder to the right side of the dock correct?? it won't go in the left..
Applications on the Left, folders and directories on the Right!!
