Hardrive + External Caddy

Hi,

I need to get an external hard drive, and it works out cheaper to get a caddy and hard drive instead of buying one off the shelf. The caddy uses the PATA IDE connection, but the Hard drive is Ultra ATA/100 - so will there be any problem with these working together?

I want to get these:
http://gamedude.com.au/prod_show.php?art_no=hddSE3207_16 - Hard drive
http://www.welland.com.tw/html/enclosure/x40.html - Caddy (3.5")

So yeah, i'm abit unsure about it so i hope someone can help me out.

Thanks heaps in advance..

Should work, neither is SATA. PATA is same as original ATA, also same as IDE. Ultra ATA 100 means ATA/ATAPI-5, that it is to say transfer mode is UDMA 5 supporting up to 100mb/s transfer speeds. Seagate makes quality drives, by the way. Good choice.
