Hardware test error code

I ran hardware test on my ibook g4 and it returned error code 2mem/1/4:dimm1/j7
I know it's the memory, I just wanted to confirm whether it's the built in or the one I can remove and replace under the keyboard.

I think the built-in memory would show as dimm0, not dimm1.
The best way to confirm this is to remove the memory from its slot, and try the test again. If it passes, put the memory back in, and try the test again. You can often take care of memory failures by simply reseating the memory in its slot.
Of course, if you get the failure code again, you know you need to replace that memory card.

Thanks so much for the info! I ran the tests like you suggested and even though the memory card does have a problem, I know for sure where it is.
