Having a problem with Voodoo3 2000!

I tried to use this card for attaching second monitor to my G4 450 under OsX 10.3.4, but unfortunately the card provides only 640 x 480 and 256 colors. Does anybody have a good experience on using Voodoo3 with such a configuration?
 
The Voodoo cards are no longer supported under OS X natively. 640x480 @ 256 is the best you'll get out of that card.

There were people in late 2001 working on drivers for the Voodoo 3/4/5 cards, but the webpage has since disappeared.
