HD compatibility question

I want to add a second internal HD to my to my G5 but am unsure about compatibility. Will SATA2 work?

The machine:

G5, Dual 1.8 (8 DIMM version).

Machine Name: Power Mac G5
Machine Model: PowerMac7,2
CPU Type: PowerPC 970 (2.2)
Number Of CPUs: 2
CPU Speed: 1.8 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 1.5 GB
Bus Speed: 900 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 5.1.5f0

Also, any (UK) recommendations for specific HD's?

I know where to buy in the UK (ebuyer seems to be the cheapest with a wide selection), I was looking for manufacturer/model recommendations (if relevant)?
 
My choice would be a Seagate, but if 5 people replied, you could get 5 different opinions.
Seagate has a 5 year warranty.
 
Yep, see, I'd recommend Western Digital, but that's purely personal preference. Seagates are no better or worse than Western Digitals in my opinion -- but if offered the choice between the two, I'd take the WD.

Seagate does have one hell of a warranty. I don't think WD offers a 5 year warranty.

Like bobw said, 5 replies = 5 different answers.
