HD Icon

I cant find my HD Icon? Iv'e looked everywhare in the CoreServices and I looked in SystemIcons.bundle file. I allsow looked in the SystemIcons.rsrc file, nothing. Can you please help me out?

not sure what you mean, but its name is... .VolumeIcon, should be in the main directory
Recently mine disappeared and went back to default, not sure when or how, I just noticed the G4 icon wasn't there.

Root directory, what you see when you double-click your startup volume
But .VolumeIcon is hidden, so you'll need to use TinkerTool to turn on seeing hidden files to see it

If all you want to do is change the icon, copy/paste.

Oh, sweet! I thought that the HD icon was a systme icon, there for it could not be changed. I was wrong, thanks!
