Headphones VS Speakers

When I plug in my headphones into my speakers, the sound still comes out of my speakers.

I don't want to plug my headphones into the tower because my headphone wires are too short.

What do I do to only get sound from my headphones?
 
Sounds like the speakers don't support the mode you want. You'll have to buy an extension cable for your headphones or headphones with a longer cable.
