Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and hope to be able to help some of you out while at the same time hoping to be able to get some help from some of you.

I suppose I just need to jump in, sorry to sound short but can anyone help me with this issue.
I just upgraded to tiger and basically am installing my network printer. I can't find a newer driver from Cannon and I made sure I moved the driver to the exact same location. I am using a Fiery server to connect but it will not see the printer. I am adding by ip and usually it will just find it immediately and I can print but this time even though it shows the printer it is greyed out.

Has anyone seen this.

It is a canon Imagerunner 1180. we are using a firey server with an ip address. I can usually just put in the ip address and the print queue with the driver and it will recognise the printer. The printer is coming up under printers but is greyed out. very strange. I am wondering if there is another location I need to put the driver in for it to pick up on it although that should not matter once I have it on the hard drive.

I have the driver installed under library, printers, ppd's.
