I can't get any audio except the startup chime to play out of my external speakers. I have a B&W G3 with regular old speakers hooked up to the speaker jack (none of that USB stuff). I've looked around in the preferences, but there's not much there. I read somewhere that if you play sound out of the internal speaker first and then plug in the external ones it would fix it, but sound doesn't come out of the internal speaker either. This is rather frustrating because it works beautifully on my bondi blue iMac. Thanks.
