Hoping someone can help! I'm currently having issues with latency in Garage Band.
From the start of a recording session, I'll get around 2 seconds worth of delay between when I play guitar and when I hear the playback. Sometimes when I press the "record" button it'll correct this and the delay will be gone, but only for a minute or so, then the delay returns.
Also, occasionally I'll have the recording stop entirely and an error message will pop up: "Disk too slow"
I am using a twelve year old interface (Edirol FA-66)...
connected via firewire/thunderbolt adapter....
so I'm suspicious it might be that.
