Help! I erased free space and have no space left on my disk!

I used Disk Utility to erase free space on my hard drive, and now I have 0GB left on my disk! What do I do?

Restart your Mac from your reinstaller disk, and run Disk Utility from the Utilities menu
Repair your hard drive from there.
