Hi all,
help me with Netinfo Manager 'cause i'm going crazy with it !!

I've set up ftp access on my machine - a sort of server - , (running OS X 10.1.4)
so i 'd like to make a new group of users called for example ftpusers containing all the accounts of pepole
with an ftp access.

In this group i want to add also another user that will have access to all the ftp user account with full privileges.
this user will access via AppleTalk from the local area network and he must be able to read/write all files uploaded
by the ftp users via internet.

So I think that all the ftp users must have the same GID and the same UID. (Is this correct ??)

But ... how to crate a new group and move all the ftp users account into it from the generic (non administrative) account ??

and also why the Users preference Pane show me only users in the admin account ??

NOTE: All the ftp users will be listed in the /etc/ftpchroot file so that when they access to the server from internet they cannot go out their home
and eventually deleting other users files.

The last question: Why can't I backup my netinfo database ??
(Netinfomanager tell me that the id of nibndd process can't be found)

Just a comment: don't you find Netinfo manager a little too complicated ???ù

thanks, thanks, thanks !!!
