So, all of a sudden, I can't seem to get the IP I set in the System Preferences/Network control to ever be loaded onto eth0. The network panel saves the info fine, but the IP never gets used. For example, the sharing control panel doesn't show the IP as set, and doing '/sbin/ifconfig -a' reports eth0 without an associated IP.
I used to have things working fine, but no more and I have no idea what I could have done to change this. I'm somewhat afraid that I messed something up trying to configure Samba, but Samba did work at one time as well.
Anyone have any ideas about how I can troubleshoot/fix this problem? And/or how I could reset any configurations that might be messing with this?
