Help iTunes Dashboard widget

When using the iTunes dash widget you can turn it over and pick a play list,
Just recently went to change play list and the area that lists the list doesn't work so if i want to change the play list i have to go into iTunes and pick a list. does any one know how to get the play list back onto the widget

Do you mean that there is a problem with the widget itself where it is simply not showing that popup menu any longer? Have you tried clicking the widget and pressing Command+R to reload the widget?
 
thats right its not showing the pop up window, i tried the command +R and still the same thing no nenu on the back only a grayed out area.
