Help Laserwriter 320 "needing service" (?)

Hello out there,
I moved overseas and after powering up my venerable Laserwriter 320 both the paper jam and the out of paper lights flash, which according to the manual means the printer needs "service". But of course, nobody knows what kind of "service" the printer needs. I love this printer, and I have 3 new cartridges.
Does anybody know what's going on ? I heard about damages of electronic parts on overseas container transport due to electrostatical charges.
But that's nothing but a speculation.
Regards,
Robert

Did you use a converter for the plug, or did you use a Power converter to change the voltage to the printer? This printer only operates at 110v-115v, it's not Auto-Sensing.

Hi,
the Laserwriter 320 is a European model working at 230 +- 10% V. The voltage is the same here in Australia. Another vintage printer works fine.
Regards,
Robert
