Help Macbook Pro recognize my Kawai K4?

Hi,

My Imac died this week, and I have finally loaded my new Finale 2011 onto a Macbook Pro.

I hoped I would just be able to use the same USB hub device to connect my Kawai K4 to the Macbook, but it does not show up as an extension, or an option in the midi menu.

The hub does show power when connected.

Do I need different hardware? Software? Both?

Have you configured the MIDI interface for the new Mac? I assume you're using some sort of USB MIDI interface to connect the Mac to the K4 (btw, I own this synth as well and love it :D). I have the Midisport 2x2 and I had to download the OS X driver for it from the M-Audio website.
