HELP! My ipod mini wont turn on!

I was usin my ipod mini at work. the battery isnt drained or anything but i took it out of my bag and it wont turn on. i took hold on and off. i took its case off (skin), i plugged it in and held down menu and play. i put in speakers to see if the lcd was shot. that didnt work. what can i do??? anyone had this problem? im buggin out over my new $250 gift!

So you did try plugging it in to charge?
Maybe you need to try a full reset. On the iPod (full) you have to do something with the hold switch to make that work. I think it might be different for the mini, but Apple's site will have something on it
