I sure hope someone can help me. I logged into my mail this morning and in doing so I decided to delete my sent file and then my trash file. When I do this I have always went to the tool bar and selected "select all" then I hit delete. It has worked fine when I did my sent file. However, my trash file opened all emails in that file and started to delete them one by one instead of doing it all at once like I had before. In doing this, my mailbox has bcome frozen. I force quit the mail, and then shut down the computer completly. After doing this I thought when I opened mail again it would be fixed. I WAS WRONG. It starts back to opening all my trash emails and deletes them one by one in the process then freezes and I cant do anything. How do I get my email working? I cant even open my inbox. Once it starts I get that little ball with colors that rotates, it does this till I force quit. HELP ME PLEASE! Thanks

Have patience and let it finish it's job. When you start Mail, press Apple+Zero to open the Activity Viewer, it'll show you what's happening, and should give you the option of stopping the process if you don't feel like waiting.
