topics about right.
when i install CLI apps the bash returns with "command not found".
i got around this with mplayer by making a bashrc with mplayer's path, but im using the shell more and more and this spitwad&bubblegum patch just wont do any longer.
any guru willing to help me out?

i fixed it myself.. it turns out my systemwide profile got borked by something a long time ago.. fixed it and added the right extra variables to PATH, patched it right up.
