Help! Our Mac's and PC's are fighting and the PC always wins! anyone come across this

Hi,

I am not sure if this is related to OSX or simply hardware. I own 2 mac laptops, 1 black macbook and 1 new macbook pro 17"

My wife has a Dell Laptop. When our computers are nearby in the house my wireless signal gets totally screwed and hardly responds, it is the same with either mac. Once her computer is put to sleep or turned off my wireless signal returns to being excellent.

This is really frustrating, does anyone have any idea what exactly is the problem and is there any possible solution?

There should be an option to enable Interface Robustness for the Airport card in your Macs. Enable that and see if your Macs continue to have this problem.
 
Thanks very much for the reply, unfortunately from what I have managed to look up, OSX Leopard gives one no option to turn this on or off like it used to be possible in earlier OSX release(s). Maybe I am wrong so if anyone knows more about this option please let me know!
