Please help me.

I wanted to install Windows on my MacBook as a additional OS next to the Mac OS X and while windows was being installed it said choose a partition. I chose the C one because I have read before that C one is how to say GOOD.
But then it said the disk maybe damaged and something like that. and needs to be reformatted. Then it deleted Mac OS X and probably all my files... pictures, songs, movies everything, adresses names. Then I tried to quit from bootcamp and pressed option button when the MacBook was starting up but there was only one OS and that was the f.... windows. I dont know exactly what happened because I am really frustrated.
Now the thiing I would like you guys to tell me if you know : is there any way to get back those files. I dont care with programs, and with songs either, but my pictures ... Those meant a lot to me... :(
I reinstalled MAC OS X but still cant find anything. I think I am lost...

Please help me..

Another good example why its crucial to backup your important data, especially when you don't know what you are doing. But if everybody backed up it would make my job easier, but also I'd have less demand for data recovery services as well.

This is exactly the kind of nightmare that has kept me from attempting to load Bootcamp and a Window OS. Good luck on your dilemma.

Before you reinstalled OS X you might have had a slim chance of recovering some files.
But now, sorry but I think you're out of luck.

One thing which is important when you loose your files is NOT to write anything onto your hard drive, since it might overwrite your lost files. Normally files are not physically deleted from the disk until you write something over them. I don't know if MacOS installation have overwritten your pictures, but this sounds quite probable. In your case the best you can do is to address a recovery specialist who can check if anything useful left on the raw structure of the hard disk, even though your chances are quite low. But if you decide to do so, do not use you Mac. Do not even turn it on, because at every second that you are using it, some of your old data may be overwritten. If you are using it now - shut it down and use another computer instead.

Data recovery typically costs money, unless you have a good friend, who is computer specialist. But make sure that you friend knows what they are doing, because they may cause more harm if doing recovery in a wrong way. Normally recovery firm or your friend wouldn't start your Mac, but get the hard drive out from it and try to recover data with another computer. Another option is to use a bootable CD to boot your Mac into some operating system like Linux and recover files form hard drive in read-only mode.
