Take a look at this jpeg, i noticed it as i was roaming around looking for tastey icons! What is a Fake Finder? What does it do? Can it help me? Do I want to be a part of it?

It's probably simply something to make the Mac OpenFirmware to recognize the Mac OS X system as a valid system to boot from. Macs require both a System and a Finder file on the startup volume, to boot at all. I'm not sure how that's done on newer macs which ship with Mac OS X preinstalled, but they probably don't need those files. There is a fake System file there, too, isn't it?
