Help with Applications Folder

Hey Everyone -

Is it possible to move my Applications folder to a bigger hard drive? I don't think I can do this without UNIX. My internal built-in drive is really small, so I would like to move the applications folder and other folders to a larger internal drive I have. My favorite setup would be what I had in OS 9 - Everything but the system on my large internal drive. I already figured out how to move my Home folder over using NetInfo Manager, but I can't for the life of me get my Applications folder over.

Also, I know this isn't UNIX, but does anyone know if Classic needs a certain amount of Hard drive space on the system drive to run? I am all of a sudden unable to run it...the drive with the system has 40 megs left on it, while the other internal has 18 gigs.

Thanks for the help,

With 40 MB free, you have no chance: it will be eaten by the virtual memory.

Why not move the whole system on the bigger drive, and keep the smaller for some data and backups ?

You could do a clean install on the bigger drive... your system will be much snappier !
