help with changing default icons (HIToolbox)

whenever i try to change my default icons they never stick after i log out and back in... i follow the directions on Xicons.com to the key...and still no luck... I'm on 10.0.4

Quick Convert doesn't always work right when it's run in OS X... Try using it in Classic...

Maybe it's your icon making program, what do you use??

Other than that I've got no idea... I changed my HD icons no prob using that same set of direction...

Wait... which icons are you trying to change? I experienced the same thing your talking about when I tried customizing the toolbar icons...
