Help with error message

The following message comes up when I try to open any of my applications including iTunes and iPhoto.



Applicaction Launch Failure
The application " "could not be launched because of a shared library error:"SC Microsoft
word<>CMFPRIV_Launch Services><"



Can anyone help?
