(Note to admins: a search for "help" returns nothing.)
My "Help" never seems to work right. I'm talking about from the Finder's menu, pick Help => Mac Help.
I've seen on this forum where you blow away the cache and the preferences. I've tried that. Sometimes that fixes it for a short time and other times (like now), it still has problems.
I'm on 10.4.5 Client (but my 10.4.5 server, generally, has the same problems).
Today's particular sequence is I clear out the cache and preferences, start help and get to the normal "start screen". I search for "mysql". I get two entries with one of them selected. I click -- -- now its working. Well, before I could click "Show" and nothing would happen. Then I would click "Show" a second time and it would put me back to the original "start screen".
Maybe I have not had enough coffee yet this morning...
Anyhow, it does seem to flake out very often. Is there anything else I need to be doing to fix the problem? (Or maybe what I'm doing is causing the problem.)
Thanks
