I'm editing a video in iMovie and I could see the video on the large Preview screen on the left, but then I added some effects like the world map and music, and when I played it..it only showed the maps and title screen, but the video went black screen, although I could still hear the music from the video...help? It's for a college presentation I have tomorrow. THANKS!

You need to "render" the movie in order to see the effects overlaid on the video, I presume.

When you "Share" a movie to iTunes, or use the "Export Movie..." function under the "Share" menu, can you see the video in the resulting file (either in iTunes or Quicktime)?
