I bought my G5 in 2007 with Mac OS x 10.3, I upgraded to 10.5 using the upgrade CD in 2008..which then upgraded my iLife as well... recently my Mac crashed, so I had to reinstall the original 10.3 , since then iam unable to view my Photos, iPhotos application doesnt respond...Iam unable to view the picture files, they are there somewhere as I can see how much space is being used...

any help would be appreciated

You need to restore your OS and iPhoto to the versions prior to the crash. Apple changed the iPhoto library. For older versions of the software, the library was a standard hierarchy of folders. In newer versions, it this hierarchy is now a bundle. When you upgraded iPhoto the old library was converted to the new bundle. The old iPhoto cannot see inside the library bundle.

Thank you
