Help with Nvu

am running system 10.4.11 on a PPC.
I need to create a simple website without using my Dreamweaver.
Can anyone steer me to a download version of Nvu that will work on my system?
The one I downloaded won't even open it?

If this still will not work for you, then the problem is not in the downloaded app but something in your system.

The problem with Nvu is that it requires system 10.5
I am running 10/4.11. I wonder if there could be an earlier version? Thanks again

Nonsense! Nvu requires MacOS X 10.1.5 or later.

You could also use KompoZer which is the continuation of Nvu and is actively developed.
