Hi all...I'm connected whith PPPoE...I have an adsl 640k but doesn't work on every sites...PPPoE setup seems right...help me please...i'm connected with an ethernet modem...

what do you mean by "doesn't work on every site"?

also please list machine specs, your browser, and specific site you are having trouble with if there is one.

I meant that my G4 can't navigate in every web site...it navigates only in some of them.

sounds like a possible DNS problem....

If you can view some sites then this more than likely means your connecting alright just not able to resolve some of sites address...

will wait for you to respond with hardware and more info...

my internet browser is explorer 5.0...my computer is a G4 500Mhz...and for example doesn't navigate in www.virgilio.it but navigate in www.libero.it or navigate in www.google.com and doesn't navigate in www.altavista.com...thanks...I have installed recently MACoSX

ok,try this first. go to software preferences and choose software update. update everything it tells you is available. this should include ie 5.1. do this a second time just to make sure there is no software that had to have another update first. you may need to run software update from classic as well to be sure you get the right prerequisites. do bothof themback and forth til you get 'your system is up to date' on both. now retry your navigating.

still not clear what you mean by that - it won't load the page or it won't let you use links from that page?
