Hidden Files that I can't retrieve

I have a 2.4 Ghz Unibody Macbook running Leopard OSX 10.5.7.

Recently, I have been playing around with Terminal mostly using the command "chflags hidden ~/FILE/*" I had an idea of hiding my folders and so I was messing around with it trying to hide folders...

However today, I found it strange that my "Username House icon" is gone from the Machintosh HD --> Users "folder". This happened I believe today in the afternoon. I thought it was strange and I guessed that I somehow hid it without knowing it because I was able to access that earlier during the day, so I googled and found a command that would unhide all folders: "defaults write com.apple.finder ShowAllFiles True"
I looked and found my "Username" House Icon hidden.... now I do not know how to unhide my "Username House Icon and I do not know what I did in Terminal that caused it.

Here is a screenshot of what I meant by "Username House Icon Missing" and before I used the "defaults write com.apple.finder ShowAllFiles True" command :

This is after I used the command unhiding the Username House Icon:

Thank you!

Download: "Invisibility Toggler", find your "house", get info on it and change to visible.

Suggest you not use Terminal again.

Hiding files in OS X is simple. Just put a period in front of the application name. If you want to hide it from the command line then that is a whole different story.
