though i think the last two dials on the right are overkill.

i saw this a couple days ago.
the caption's not true. It's a hoax - they didn't really predict home computers of 2004 to be like that. the folks back in 1954 weren't that out of touch...

the picture is actually of an old submarine control panel.

sure.
it's pretty funny though - i sent to my father who was born in '50, and gave him a hard time about it. don't need to tell him it's a hoax - he forwards all the stupid fake virus emails (the ones windows users fall for - there's this file in your system directory. delete it!), so he doesn't know the difference. lol
