Alright, I'm a new Mac user and as I was loading my computer for the first time, It named named my home folder "firstnamelastname" (except my actual name). I assumed this would be fine and continued to load my computer for the first time. After it was all said and done, I realized such a folder name just seemed silly, so I tried to rename it (even though they said it wasn't possible to name). I originally named it "Home" but then I thought it just changed itself back to "firstnamelastname" so I renamed it "firstname." However, now I've realized I've made all these folders in my users folder and the "firstname" folder has the house icon next to it, but "firstnamelastname" is still my home folder (as I tried to delete it). All and all, I'm a little confused because I think I have lots of work mixed in with all these folders.
Also, when I put a CD and import it from iTunes it doesn't put the music in my music folder instead I have to go through like 6 sub-folders to get to the files.
...and, is there anyway I can rename that unrenameable file after I get rid of the other folders in the users folder? If not, is there anyway I can just "pull the plug" on the computer so to speak and do the original set-up all over again?
I know these questions are pretty "n00b" but I'd really appreciate the help.
