A mate of mine created a nice little piece of software for my mac, he is a programmer.

He e-mailed it to me in the form of a Cd image... the file is a .CDR.

Im not to sure what to do with it and i cant contact him, whats the best way to save it to a disc?

The software needs to be loaded in the boot sequence of my mac so i cant just open it with finder.

I will also be burning the disc on a windows based PC.

I know there are a lot of restrictions but i am very very desperate, i need to do this or i'll fail my last year at college.... long story.

Any tips or weblinks will be GREATLY appreaciated.

Through extreme desperation of not wanting to ruin my life i ran the file through 'ISObuster', the good thing is it can read it... the bad news is that i dont know how to extract/burn the files to a disc...

Im still trying to work it out.

In order to find out how to burn CDs on a Windows PC, I'd say you should go to a Windows forum. If the .cdr (containing an illegal copy of DiskWarrior, I assume) contains a Mac volume, burning the CD as an ISO using Windows CD-burning software might or might not work. Thread closed.
