Host file in OSX?

Host file config problems

I have OSX Server running behind a router. I am webserving from it. When I type in my address to access my domain, it will take me to the router config page from the browser. I want to access my site from my computer, not the router browser. On Win XP this was fixed by going to c\windows\windows32\drivers\etc\hosts and adding domain name.
How does one do this in mac os x server and unix? How bout classic?

I know in OS 9 and lower, the host file is located in HD > System Folder > Preferences and the file is called hosts.

Not sure about the OS X one. But if you edit the OS 9 one, that'll only control classic apps that use TCP/IP, it will have no effect on OS X apps.

Oops,

I accidently deleted the local directory in netinfo. Can someone give me the values? And yes I am trying to access my webserver from another computer on the LAN. And adding the values and properties did not seem to let me enter the web site I am serving from my server from another computer on the LAN. I added the local IP and DNS.

Thanks
