I've set up an image that I've used for hundreds of laptops and I simply changed the name after imaging using the Sharing page under system preferences. I've noticed that this seems to not work that great. The name seems to always change when I use any network utility to browse my LAN. I know when I ghost windows I always use ghostwalker to change the SID, but I didn't think mac needed anything like this. Apparently I'm missing something. Someone clue me in please.
