hi,
after searching hi and low, and trying to forget the issue, i finally got really pi$#ed and frustrated, and decided to bother you people with my little problem:
several hotkeys that i use a lot somehow get mysteriously deactivated at random moments, most notably the hotkeys for Dictionary (⌘^D) and Exposé/Dashboard (F9-F12).
is anyone aware of some system setting or application that could be doing this?
or is it maybe related to applications that define conflicting hotkeys?
from one side it's quite hillarious how this issue exactly defeats the entire purpose of having hotkeys, but having to go to the system-prefs and enable them each time starts to become pretty annoying...
