Hotline connection problems

I am interested in a Hotline server with old Mac games, as per the last post in this thread…http://macosx.com/forums/games/48446-old-school-mac-games.html

So I dl Hotline client but can't connect to anything. I keep getting the message "Remote host refused connection" as soon as I try to connect. Most probably a firewall or modem port issue but I wouldn't have a clue even where to start looking. Anyone know?

Read the board rules about P2P/warez etc. (clue: not allowed) ... Plus: That old server probably simply isn't around anymore.

Sorry. I could only find a reference to warez in the rules, not p2p in general. Also, I thought this particular Hotline server was abandonware, not illegal files. Alfer all, I found the reference to it on this board. Nevertheless, I won't ask again.
