hotmail is backup!! woohoo! 
hotmail used to be an awesome service until MS bought them. they've been down a lot in the past while MS was trying to migrate the server farm from FreeBSD to Windows 2000. so much infact that MS haulted the migration until they could figure out what the hell they were doing.
