How about some internet telephony?

One of the few applications that keeps me going back to my PC is internet telephony.

Any sign of something serious happening for Mac now that we have OS X?

Let me take that one step further,
*free* internet telephony.

Why free ? because the internet telephony products that I have seen on the net are charging the same price per minute as the phone companies or a few cents less.

While there may not be any "free" internet telephone apps for the mac, there are some opensource projects to consider.

One is Speak Freely. Looking at the code, we could probably find some person that knows the mac's audio API to add support for the package.
