How am I doing?

well surprisingly enough, i like your color scheme. the very dark blue instead of black is easy on my eyes and provides strong contrast.

however, if i didn't know what phpBB was, i wouldn't have a clue that you are a forum site. perhaps a direct link up above to 'Forums' would help. i also have no clue as to what your site is about. communications is a pretty wide topic. something that states the purpose and focus of the site on the main page might be helpful as well.

otherwise, it looks nice and seems ok for a startup. :)

Looks nice, pleasing to the eye. Perhaps it could be a little less cluttered if you dropped it to two columns, rather than three. You might put the items on the right-hand column over to the left hand column to open up a little more space, and clear away anything that's not particularly useful to visitors, such as the "current time is ... GMT -5 " bit.

And as Ed pointed out, communications is a very wide topic, and it is hard to tell what the site is about at first. Explain it in your Welcome message.

Looks nice, though. :)

It blinks faster in Safari than in Chimera BTW ;)

The site is simple, and that's a compliment: one single look will let the user locate what he wants . However, Ed is right: it's always useful to tell the visitors what's obvious to you, ie that's your site is a forum.

You could either have an explicit splash screen, or get your site logo to tell the user. Or both. If I were you, I think I'd do both: redesign a logo that integrates better with the rest of the site in terms of size and color scheme, as well as placing a very informative splash screen, sorta "PowerMaster Forums welcome you on board" stuff.

Last: if you want to make your signature clickable (ie that the link you have written in it to PowerMaster works like a HTML link), use the vB tag:
<url="http://www.pow...ke it work replace <> tags by [] tags.
