Hey everyone, i have an original TiBook 400mhz w/ 384 mb of ram running 10.1 and 9.2.1. I am considering getting an external monitor for it. My price limit is $700 and im looking for a CRT (flat front but deep) 17-19". I need to know how big a resolution my powerbook will drive the monitor at (in millions of colors). Does anybody know? also, the monitor i think i like is the NEC-Mitsubishi FP955 (got good reviews) www.nec-mitsubishi.com Any monitor reccomendations?

thanks

How exactly does this post fit into the Tips & Tricks forum? Oh well...

Anyhoo, your TiBook will out at 1280x960 24-bit max.

WTF!! How is that possible. when i say resolution, i mean like external monitor res, not internal, and besides the internal only goes 1152x768. any way to make it bigger? LOL monitor suggestions anyone

That's what I mean, Ace.

Screen: 15.2" active matrix TFT, 24 bit (true color) 1152x768
Video out: VGA (Max 24-bit 1280x960 non-mirror), S-Video
