How can I change photoshop filetype icons, system wide?

Can anyone tell me how to change the icons for files such as .png, .psd etc etc. i don't mean individual icons I mean like whenever a .png file is created by photoshop, it will look like the new icon.

This was a simple task in Windows where you can do it in folder options, I'm a new Mac user so don't really know the equivelant.

I'm familiar wth changing system wide icons because I've changed default folder icons etc, but I can't seem to find it for photoshop.

I found the icon resource with iconographer, I replaced the icons, although I had to change the icon type from old to univeral icon resource (I also tried Mac S new resource).

It is taking on the icon so it's the right place, but they are still coming out garbled.

Yeah, I done all the previous you said. I'm gonna keep having a play around with it,

In photoshop7.app, in resources, there is just the actual photoshop7 icon.

There are alo 2 folders, MacOS and MacOS Classic. In each of these there is a file called photoshop7, I'm guessing I replace the icons in one of those yeah?
