How can I change the icons of my Folders in Finder?

Pick the icon you want to use
click on your icon to select it,
hit cmd-C to copy,

Right-cick on the icon you want to change, select "Get info"from the drop down menu.
click on the icon at the top of the info window to select it,
hit cmd-V to paste your new icon in.

Look up FinderIconCM; it makes all manipulation of folder icons a total cinch, and can even make Folder/Application icon combinations very simply.
 
Wow, more simple than Windows. ;) Thanks guys... ahh... by the way... do you know any good software to create icons for Mac?
 
What a silly question... I dont need any software t ocreate .ICO files for mac... I can simply sopy any image and paste to the file... Thanks guys.
