How do I burn across multiple CDs?

Hi,
I'm running OS 10.4. I want to burn a large folder that contains 16GB to DVD. Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to automatically burn the entire folder across as many DVD's as are needed, instead of dividing the files into <4.7 GB clumps myself and burning the DVD's one at a time??

Newest Toast can do it if you're selecting "Mac only" compatibility. I don't know of other utilities. Apple's Finder and Disk Utility can't do it AFAIK.

fryke has already told you that Toast can do the job. You have to understand that you are effectively trying to create a backup on optical disk. This is a task usually reserved for backup utilities. Alternatively, you can create a segmented archive which you can then manually burn to CD or DVD.
