How do I change my user name?

Okay I just purchased a used Titanium powerbook and it came with the main user name already entered, and I would like to change it. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you!!:)
 
Boot from the OS CD, hopefully you have one, and reformat the drive and reinstall the System.
 
You can change the name in NetInfo Manager, but I think you would be better off creating a new Admin User account for yourself in the Accounts System Preferences pane. Log out, then log in with your new account. This way you won't share any legacy preferences or possibly incorrect settings from the previous owner. After you are satisfied that everything is working correctly, delete the old owner's user account.
