Does OSX have a compare file utility?
I use cd-rw's to back up data.
I would like to copy the cd-rw to the hard drive, and compare the copy to the cd-rw for errors. If there are no errors I can then erase the cd-rw and burn the copied data with new data added.
When OSX burns a cd, a verification is done, is it also verified when duplicating/ copying a file?
When OSX copies/ duplicates a cd to the hard drive I do not see any verification?
How can I compare files with OSX, I would like to avoid using toast
