How do I configure Vuze port settings?

I can't get the multiple port settings correct. Can someone suggest a way to scan for available ports on my Macbook.

You have to do port forwarding through your router/firewall to your Mac. You would need to do a DHCP reservation on your router or give your Mac a static IP and then have the specified ports in Vuze configured. If you don't have a router, you shouldn't have a problem.

If you really want to get Vuze set up nicely, I suggest you go here:
http://forum.vuze.com/thread.jspa?threadID=78768
and scroll down to this line,
"If you haven't already done that, you should maybe look into the port-forward guide ..."
where you should start finding useful info.

Additionally, many Mac users have found the most recent Vuze updates to impair functionality. See: http://forum.vuze.com/thread.jspa?messageID=210894&#210894

You may need to revert to an older Vuze, like 4.3.0.0a for mac OS X, available here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/azureus/files/
Disable relevant options: Options -> Interface -> Start
Disable both check for latest version and automatically open the update ass't when an update is available.
Vuze may stick an ugly twitter, etc toolbar in your Firefox. Just disable it.
